Running Time: Episode 1, 3 hours 15 minutes with a fifteen minute intermission; Episode 2, 2 hours; Episodes 3 & 4, 2 hours 30 minutes. Marathon runs 10 hours 15 minutes including three breaks.

When can the ordinary become extraordinary and the mundane monumental? "Epic stories need epic forms," says Nature Theater of Oklahoma, making their triumphant homecoming with this bold, exuberant 11-hour celebration of the most epic story of all: life. Life and Times: Episodes 1-4 charts one person's account of their own life from earliest memory through adolescence with music, movement and mystery. It's about you, too!
The four episodes of Life and Times being presented can be seen in installments or together as a "marathon." Life and Times will run from January 16th to February 2nd.

Join Soho Rep's FEED Humanities program and The Public's Under The Radar for three pre-show discussions cracking open the world of Nature Theater of Oklahoma's Life and Times. All events take place at The Robert Moss Theater, 440 Lafayette Street, 3rd Floor, directly across from The Public from 6pm to 7pm. Events take place before showings of Episode One. Free and open to the public.

Life and Times, from a conversation with Kristin Worrall, features dramaturgy by Florian Malzacher, design by Peter Nigrini, original music by Robert M. Johanson, Julie LaMendola and Daniel Gower, production management by Dany Naierman and chorus direction by Nora Hertlein. The cast includes Ilan Bachrach, Elisabeth Conner, Daniel Gower, Gabel Eiben, Anne Gridley, Robert M. Johanson, Matthew Korahais, Julie LaMendola, Alison Weisgall and Kristin Worrall.
Life and Times: Episodes 1-4 are a production of Nature Theater of Oklahoma and Burgtheater Wien. Episode 1 was created in co-production with Internationales Sommerfestival Hamburg, Kaaitheater Brussel, Théâtre de la Ville Paris, Internationale Keuze Festival Rotterdamse Schouwburg, and the Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University. Episode 2 was created in co-production with Kampnagel Hamburg, le Festival d’Avignon, Théâtre de la Ville Paris, Kaaitheater Brussel, and Rosas. Episodes 3 & 4 were created in co-production with Internationales Sommerfestival Hamburg, Kaaitheater Brussel, Internationale Keuze Festival Rotterdamse Schouwburg, and Künstlerhaus Mousonturm Frankfurt am Main GmbH. Funding support for Episode 1 provided by the MAP Fund, a program of Creative Capital, supported by the Rockefeller Foundation. Funding support for Episode 2 provided by and the New England Foundation for the Arts’ National Theater Pilot, with lead funding from the Andrew W.
