SUBMISSIONS
UTR accepts submissions on a rolling basis. Various factors impact the inclusion of a product in the festival; artistic integrity, funding, schedule, available partners, festival suitability, readiness to tour. Please send a DVD and information addressed to the Under The Radar Festival at The Public Theater. We will be in contact if we wish to find out more about the project. The best way for us to know your work is to see your work! Please keep us informed of your performances.
INTERNSHIPS
The upcoming festival is from Jan 9-20. The internship period is September – February for the festival. This internship is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning the ins and outs of the festival process, experimental and international theater, or those interested in pursuing a career in producing theatre. Those interested in applying should be creative, detail-oriented, extremely resourceful, have a sense of humor, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties may include but are not limited to: assist with planning, liaising with artists, event planning, maintaining a web presence, administrative duties, show coverage, etc. Good writing skills a must. Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel is required. Mac and Design skill a plus.
Position(s): Two part-time or one full-time. Travel stipend available.
